Amaterasu is exceptionally usable at 1-1-1 because her skill-ups purely increase damage multipliers and do not gate her core mechanics. However, maxing S3 (Divine Verdict) and S2 (Ever-Shining) is highly recommended to bridge the gap for players who don't have premium high-stat Souls. The extra multipliers significantly lower the gear requirements needed to efficiently clear waves and unlock her 50% Move Bar advance upon scoring a KO.
💡 Daruma Tip: Because Black Daruma upgrades a random skill, sub-5-5-5 targets have a lucky vs. pity variance range. Stop feeding Black Daruma immediately once key skills reach target breakpoints — non-essential skills do not need to be maxed to Lv.5.
